Raph Worrick writes the songs, bangs on the guitar and other things that are lying around, and hollers out the words mostly. He lives on beans soaked in vinegar in a tiny little shed in the hills of Vermont, and would like to write a really good song about Richard Milhouse Nixon.
Matt Rogalsky plays bass, lap steel, and all manner of other stringed and unstringed things. That incident with Stephen Hawking was not his fault. He makes all manner of other music and art which you can find over at mrogalsky.net.
Ron Rost has the largest instrument collection in Panton, VT, and plays most of them. While he mainly provides organ and other keyboard noises for the Dirtminers, you never know what he may emit sound from. His hobbies are cattle rustling and emergency plumbing.
Jeff Labossiere, formerly of Boston, viciously beats the drums into submission for our amusement. His formal employment involves inspecting the slabs in the labs, and he occasionally runs a few dozen miles just for fun. And no, he can’t play in your band too.
Mr. Michael Corn is not really in the band. He stands on stage with us often and plays every stringed instrument imaginable, but on no account imply that he is part of the group. He’s very touchy and owns a welding torch.
Wayne Riess, of Wustahmass and lately Brooklyn NY, is our occasional welcomed guest on the piano. A burning jazz player, Wayne makes every tune a little tastier. And a little weirder. But he doesn’t make ‘em taste weird. We can’t figure it out.
Russ Lawton played drums with us for during 2005 and recorded the fine performances on the American Typewriter cd. Currently with Strangefolk and a number of other swell bands, we hope to have Russ stop by and bang a gong for us occasionally. Visit him at www.russlawton.net.

Pete Bowers is another gun in our drum arsenal, a swell skin smacker who fills in when the flag changes color. He and Matt can also be found making other noises together in The Grimwits, if he's not playing with Me Man Jack.

Roger Stauss twiddles our knobs up at Noteworthy Studios(link) and is the brains behind Animalville Records. He really knows where to stick a mic and how to mix it up tasty. He likes his martinis dry and his grass mowed short.
